Feeling Good.

I have finished a full week of paleo and I am on to my 2nd.  So far I have lost 8 pounds and I have acquired so much energy, I really don’t know what to do with myself.  I feel great, however, those valentines chocolates that I bought for Logan’s class look so appealing, they are sitting on my counter and seem to be chanting my name a little bit. Oh and super-bowl was torture.  It was wonderful hanging out with friends (thanks for having us over Rachel and Danny), but the goodies present looked oh so delicious and Jeryd and I really could not eat any of it (I think we were secretly hoping that the other one would say "it's OK, just go for it, one little bite won't hurt"), and never mind the keg in the backyard that we were unable to partake in.  But alas, we were strong and we left the party without throwing in the towel.  I now fully believe in incorporating these eating habits into my daily life, it totally makes sense to eat this way and although I am craving sweets, I just might take this challenge past the end of February, we shall see. Also if there is any chance that it will help me to look like this again, it's worth a try:

Ha ha Hannah,  I hope you appreciate this picture.  This is Tahoe probably 2002?

My new classes started this week so I am busy busy.  I will still try to blog at least once a week though so stick with me.
I am totally over the WA weather and I am looking forward to moving back to CA.  I need some warmth man.  I took the little babies on a walk the other day to pick Logan up from school, and it was so cold that I wound up jogging there as fast as I could, and on the way back I had to make it into a race so that Logan would go fast too.  Poor kids, by the time we got home Rem had snot poring down his face and his cheeks and nose were bright red.  It's deceiving, when you look outside it is all sunny and beautiful then you go outside and it is a shock to your system.  If its windy...forget about it.  Right now it is about 32 degrees with a slight wind that makes it about 25 degrees.  ugh.  Pretty soon I will be able to post pictures of my children playing outside in beautiful CA....For now, here they are from the comforts of our home (where it is warm):

He's so photogenic when he actually allows me to take his picture.

Awww, I love this one.  He loves his baby sister, makes my heart melt.

It seems like she is getting so big way too fast :(
My sweet first born.  Seems like I never get enough pics of him, its always the younger two that  are around when the camera is out.
He was getting annoyed with me.

Hope you all have a great rest of the week!
