Day Two

Day 2 of paleo diet….  It kinda sucks.

I find that I am incredibly tired, what with waking up with Scarlet throughout the night and having a horrible cough that I just can’t shake.  I am bitter because this diet does not allow me the one aid I need ….coffee with cream and sweetness.  I mean sure, I can have black coffee, but who really wants that.  I look forward to my sweet cup of coffee.  I had been making mochas every morning prior to this and it probably would have been a better idea to wean myself off of that sooner rather than go cold turkey.   But I am whining, and in the long run I will be grateful I did this. Jeryd made us take before pictures (which I am not going to share with you on here), and truth be told, my body was screaming at me to do something like this.  I am in bad shape man.

Two days in and I have been slapped in the face with my addiction to sugar.  I am realizing that I am eating it constantly throughout the day.  It’s bad.  I LOVE sweets.  I’m finding though, that I am not hungry at all doing this challenge, I am just changing what I eat.  I am going to look up some good recipes to try something new and I will share them with you if they are worthy.

2 days in, 26 left to go.

Here is some sweet baby love.

Stinky Remy....He never want's me to take his picture.
Oh.....Remy went poopy in the potty last night!  Super excited!  He was in the bath and he got this panicked look on his face and he looked at me and said "poop", so he was whisked away be super-daddy to sit on the potty  and...he delivered.  Hopefully he will make this a regular thing.
Just thought I would share.

  2. I did this paleo thing for a few months, and the sugar thing really got me. The first week was AWFUL. I wanted sugar in any form I could get it. I caved the first week but then got better the next week and ended up doing it for a few months. You can do it Kells Bells! You will be glad you did :)
