Being lazy in the aftermath of an attempted sleepover. Logan had his first sleepover at his house last night and it was a.......failure. The playing and the eating until 12 in the morning was all well and good. It was after this mean mama said lights out that the sleepover came down in a crumbling mess. I awoke at 3am to the cries of sweet Scarlet asking to be feed only to hear the sad whimpering of a child that was not my own. Upon further inspection I found little Elias sitting straight up in the nest of pillows and blankets that he and Logan created to sleep the night away in.
Despite my quite protests that 3am was very early to be calling anybody, and that in all likelihood his mama would be sleeping, dear Elias chose to wake his mother and request that she come save him.
I tried to wake up Logan to explain the situation but he would not oblige me. Elias went home, and I went back to bed. I later woke up to a crying Logan begging me to tell him where his friend was. Logan was heartbroken.
A learning lesson for all.......
Anyway, I am procrastinating. I have a paper due this week and I am completely dragging my feet. But I am happily being irresponsible and enjoying the day with my beautiful family.
