Last night I got less than 4 hours.
I am tired.
My exhaustion is the one major contributing factor towards my decision to only have 3 children.
I am tired.
Last night around 3 I thought about writing this post. I haven't really been motivated to write much of anything lately. It's hard to be inspired when you are running on empty.
Right now I am also frustrated that the nearest Starbucks is more than 20 minutes away. I can't justify driving that far to fulfill my caffeine addiction. I am on cup number two (of the regular stuff) already..........
I told my husband that I am going to write up orders for my own personal TDY. Who's with me? I think all of us military mamma's deserve one. I am not going to tell anyone where I am going, it's top secret. I am going to live it up and have some time by myself...oh, and sleep of course. Jeryd will just have to figure life out (like we always have to do). It seems like a good idea to me.
The source of my exhaustion:

| yup, even you dude.....even you. |
Ok, time for another cup.

Okay, THANK YOU! For joining my "Life Isn't Perfect" theme this week. We love our kids, we love our lives, but dude, sometimes %$#& just hits the fan and we have the right to vent about it. What normal person can sleep less than four hours and NOT feel like mailing themselves a few states away just to get some REST?? Love this, love you. Next week will be better :)
ReplyDeleteLove it! Even you dude! I feel ya and I only have one!
ReplyDeleteAMEN!!! The Church of Kelly is my kind of church! Justin is in the field, we move on Friday, so of course I am packing the apartment by myself, and doing schoolwork for him (the one thing I actually don't mind), and about to lose my mind cause kids decide they don't want to sleep, and I look like a teenager with all my stress induced acne and I need to dye my white hairs. I think a TDY is in order....mine may or may not be something like Napa/Wine/spa treatments/FOOD/quiet/antique shopping/Wine...sound good? Ok, I feel better...thanks Kel. We buy Starbucks French Roast at COSTCO and brew at home....pretty close to the real deal. xo
ReplyDeletePlease let me go TDY with you!! I will even buy the Starbucks for the drive to the top secret location!!!
ReplyDeleteSee you in the a.m., and looking forward to it!! ;)
