A Lot

Hi.

It feels like a lot has happened since my last post.  

******

First and foremost,

the long anticipated arrival of THIS:

About damn time right?!

Maybe if I hadn't changed my major/school/mind five different times I would have received it a little sooner.

Hell, I had enough credits for like five degrees...

oh well, better late than never.

I am now contemplating my next path in terms of education/employment.

I will keep you all posted.

We also have a new additon to our crazy family.

No I am NOT pregnant.

Meet Sandy.

She is super cute.

You might be asking yourself:

 "why does your dog and your mother have the same name?"

Funny story...

Jeryd and I had originally anticipated on having more human children,

then Scarlet blessed us with her presences and we thought "hey, three's good".

The problem was that each of our children had been given the name of one of their grandparents.  

This was done fairly, in chronological order so as not to upset anyone.  

Since my father was the oldest Logan has Lee as his middle name,

Granny Annie was next in line so Remy's middle name is Anson (like uncle Kyle).

And finally we have our Scarlet Michael after P-Paw.

The trouble was we had one more left over.

We had been thinking about getting a dog for awhile,

 so before we acted on it we suggested to my mom that we might use her name.

She was all for it.

(such a good sport).

So again, here is Sandy:

It's pretty much like having a fourth child.

So this past weekend

we left our four children with my mother and headed 3 hours west.

Remember that HALF MARATHON that Jeryd somehow talked me into...

Well, Saturday was the day.

It was brutal.

but I finished.

Jeryd is already lining up the NEXT one.

We snuck home the day after the race to help out the Easter Bunny....
