This is how Remy likes to play with chalk..

....no wait.  First he likes to put it into any freestanding body of water he can find, making it soft and pliable.  

He then likes to smash it, stomp on it, or any other action that renders it into a rainbow colored smear across the back patio.  

If you walk out back you will see these artistic creations all over the place.

I admit that sometimes I contribute to them   

It really is fun to get your hands slimy with the stuff, I highly recommend it  

(For best results, chalk must be damp).

Sister on the other hand, likes to eat it.

I asked him what he was doing and he informed me that he was digging up dinosaur bones....

......I didn't question it.

Sister came over to inspect his work..

Gave him a hand.

They sure do have fun outside.

Funny story...

I was rolling all around the grass taking pictures of these cute kids, 

paying no attention to where I was laying my body.

It wasn't until I went inside and, after checking everyone's rear-end, realized that it was I that smelled of poop.

I had managed to get it on my shoe and up the leg of my pants.

Those shoes and pants are still lying outside the back door....I'm hoping someone else will clean them for me. 

funny stuff.
