Three Hours Away.

The best part about pcs'ing to Beale is that we are three hours away from my parent's house.  

Three hours away from my little sister and her husband and son.

Three hours away from my littlest sister.

Three hours away from friends.

Three hours away from fun.

Last weekend I took the kids to my Mom's house and a fun time was had by all.  

 My boys love playing with cousin Cooper....

...and Scarlet is spoiled for the whole visit.

We were excited to learn that the school carnival was going on that weekend.

Pop-pop took us all and memories were made.

My kids are so lucky.

Aidan and her friend Shelby asked if I would do a photo shoot for them.

The pictures turned out beautifully,

probably because I had such lovely subjects.  

There were touches of Spring all around my mom's yard.

And these boys couldn't get enough of each other.

Scarlet got to meet her Uncle Dennis.

We BBQ'd and had S'mores.....

.......And we just had so much fun.  

Do you have a place that you go to that is just happy and joyful and relaxing and peaceful.  

That is what my mom's house is to me.

You drive over the winding mountains and enter the little town and drive up her street and you experience all of these beautiful emotions.  

It is safe, it is comfortable, it is home,

and I am so blessed to now only be a car ride away.

A trip to my mom's house wouldn't be complete without an excursion to Santa Cruz.

Man, I love this place.

I apologize to all those that I did not get to see.  The good thing about living three hours away is that we will be visiting often.  Within the next few weeks I hope to see you all xoxo.
