Tahoe

Tahoe is my most favorite place.

I feel calm and at peace when I am there.

It rained almost our whole vacation.

But it was beautiful, 

and it didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves.

Shannon and Sheridan came up for a visit while we were there.

Shannon took us on a little hike to show us some hidden beaches.

It was raining....

...and some of the children were a little less than enthused. 

But we tortured them and made them walk the 30 minutes to our destination.

The girls were stoked on this, and, despite the rain, 

they decided to discard their "optional clothing" and go for a swim.

I don't blame them.

I probably would have as well had we not been in mixed company.

Logan decided to keep his clothes on and go for a swim.

The rain was lovely.

It was wonderful to be able to share it with these two.

She refused to smile for me.

On Thursday, the sun finally decided to grace us with it's presence.

We made the kids hike once more,

but this time we bypassed the naked beach and instead went to the beach adjacent to it.

It was a perfect day.

This little plane landed right in front of us and parked right on shore.

The next day we celebrated Logan's birthday.

I can't believe this dude is 10!

He decided he wanted to swim at the pool all day.

Sheridan and Shannon came once more to spend the day with us.

It was a fantastic vacation.

I am sad that it is over.

We are now gearing up for school!

All three of my babies start school on wednesday!

Logan in 5th, Remy in Kindergarten, and Scarlet in preschool.

I'm stoked.

We are also in the process of packing everything up again.

We get keys to our new house on Tuesday!

I am also finishing up classes for the summer session!

I have three more classes plus an internship left before I graduate!

It's busy, busy over here.
