Life

We have just finished up the third week of school over here,
(I guess 2 1/2 weeks is a little more accurate)
and I am just now getting the pictures up.
That is because we were also moving into our new house during that time.
Busy, busy.
He is telling me something important....can't for the life of me remember what it was.
Things are just now starting to calm down.
I am loving the new place.
So happy to be so close to the school.
My big 10 year old has been walking to and from school all by himself everyday.
I get to walk there and back three times a day.
I walk Rem and Scarlet both in the morning,
go back for Scarlet at 11:30,
and the go back once more for Rem at 2:15.
It's lovely.
No more living in the car.
I go days where I don't drive anywhere.
I can get used to this.

Kindergarten has been going awesome so far for Rem.
He comes home with yellow tickets most days,
(The schools reward system for a job well done)
And his teacher says that she wants to put him in her pocket and take him home.
I think it is going to be a good year.
Scarlet on the other hand was a little reluctant.
There were a few tears shed.
She's just now getting into the routine and making friends.
She's a handful though.
I witnessed her fieriness coming through one morning.
She and another little girl were running around before class.
Another little girl came up to them and and told them to stop running.
The other girl was definitely being a little bossy,
and my child decided to respond to the confrontation
by kicking the bossy little girl in the shins.
Awesome.
Got to love her though.

Bath time intermission.

To escape the stress of moving and starting school,
Jeryd and I decided to ditch the day, last Friday,
and take the kids to Tahoe
Sandy came too!
It was a lovely day.
 Although, a little windy.
That didn't stop us from jumping in.
It was a great day!
*******
Next weekend Jeryd and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary!
Crazy!
The plan is to head to Reno for a little one on one time.
I am very much looking forward to it.
Happy anniversary to us!
******
I hope you all had a wonderful start to the school year!
xoxo
