A Lot Going On

We have a lot going on....

Last weekend we celebrated Jeryd's birthday.

Merrick, P-pa and Granny came up for the festivities.

Jeryd said that he wanted crepes, whipped cream, and strawberries for his B-day Breakfast.

"The ones my dad makes."

I gladly offered to prepare his requested meal...

....only to find out that he wanted it exactly like his dad makes....

....including his dad to make it.

Who can compete with that.

Luckily P-pa was more than happy to offer his services.

Man was it delicious (minus the strawberries for me of course).

Even Sandy wanted in on the action.

Jeryd got a neat pack from his mom.  

It's perfect for sandy to carry her own food when we go backpacking.

 Merrick took us all for a ride in his new car.

I only got pictures of P-pa in it.

Logan thought it was the coolest thing.

He has informed me that he wants a Corvette when he starts to drive.

We shall see about that.

 It was a super fun visit!

The next time they are in our neck of the woods we will be living somewhere else though, because....

...we have been frantically getting our house ready to be put on the market.

My kitchen is no longer green.

 We are trying to make everything clean and shiny.

Power-washing...

 ...painting...

 ...cleaning...

 ...packing...

 ...yardwork...

...It's a big job!

Oh, and I just started a Biostatistics class that I have been dreading.

ugh!

A lot going on.

I know it will all be worth it when it is over.

I can't wait.
