Brief Window

I have a brief window of freedom where I can do fun things.

By brief, I mean 5 days. 

I mean...I try to do fun things on a regular basis,

but for 5 days I can do them without the constant nagging of homework hanging over my head.

I completed my first set of classes!  Yay!

I now have 5 days before the next set starts.

It's hard work, but I'm loving it.

Because it has been so busy over here,

 I haven't picked up the camera much.

Here is a brief glimpse into our life:

Remy claims to have an imaginary friend.

His name is nerd. 

He was around for about a week,

I haven't heard from him in a couple of days.

I am thankful I got a picture of him at least.

This girl.

It's been challenging to get work done with her around. 

Sometimes I feel like I might be ignoring her a bit.

I try to do schoolwork in spurts.

with little breaks that I spend with her.

It seems to be working.

Except yesterdays she told me she didn't love me,

and then proceeded to tear up the room that I had just finished tidying up.

We shall see how it goes.

I'm loving my new haircut still, 

except Jeryd says I look too much like my mom.

He can suck it.

It's actually turning into "fall" around here.

Some trees are actually losing their leaves,

and it's been cool enough to play outside without dying (70+ degrees).

My Logan is getting so big.

We went to the school carnival last night.

It was fun.

I love their little school.

We are getting ready for Halloween over here.

Scarlet is going to be Ariel and I am going to be Ursula.

Scarlet is taking on the role of Ariel fully.

She won't even let me sing the little mermaid parts of the song in the car...

only she can.

She instructs me as to when it is my turn to sing.

"ahh ahh ahh ahhhhhh ah ahhhhh, ah ahhhhhh ahhhhh ahhhhh ah ahhhhhhhh"

(this is Ariel singing)

"now it's your turn mommy"

this is my part:

"KEEP SINGING!"

she continues

"ahhhh ah ahhh ahh ah ahhhhhh.......!"

(Ursula has just taken Ariels voice, in case you didn't know).

This scene plays out every time we enter the car.

At the top of our lungs.

The boy's love it.

Not.

Ok,

back to more fun things.

I have x-mas presents to work on.

Oh, and Remy's teacher is having a baby boy.
