Disneyland

I think this photo captures all that Disneyland is.

The magic, the joy, and the awe.

I was able to snap this just as we were walking into the park and it is my favorite.
The park was lovely (oozing the holiday spirit), and we all had such a good time.

I think "Tomorrow Land" was the hit.

It was in this section of the park that Logan became one with "the force"...

I think it is every little boy's dream to be able to go up against Darth Vader.
Logan was successful.
This happened on the first day of our adventure and he spent the rest of the time reminiscing.
I do believe a memory was made that day.

*******

Can't wait?  Skip to 1:30 and watch who takes on Vader first!

California Adventure was also fun.

We were able to go have breakfast with the princesses at Ariel's grotto.
It was a pricey, but memorable experience.
Jeryd was the most excited...he has a crush on Ariel.

I'm sending this out as our X-mas card next year.

Oh, and this ride.....Have any of you been on it before?

I went on it the last time I visited....I didn't remember it being so scary.

Look how little Logan was.
Jeryd thought it was hilarious how scared I was.

It didn't scare the kids at all....

.....even sister loved it.

What wasn't enjoyed by my eldest son, was the tower of terror.
Somehow Jeryd talked him into going on that one.
I'm surprised Logan didn't pee his pants, or worse, puke all over everyone.
Poor kid.
He sure was pissed at his dad after it was all over.

This is hilarious....Logan looks panicked...you can't even see me because I am trying to console the kid...and Jeryd and Pop-pop are having the time of their lives.  I love it.
He got over it...

Our trip was made even better with the arrival of Pop-pop,

Mimi,

Aidan,

and of course Cooper.

 We went on rides.....

...watched the parades.....

...met new friends...

 ...tried to pull the sword...

How does this thing work anyway?
...and had plenty of fun.

We even got to meet this guy.

 Scarlet was not excited.

Poor Santa.

SAVE ME!

It was a fantastic trip!
******
We were even able to squeeze in a visit with some great people....

My oldest and best friend Robyn.
Her great kids: Chase and Ella.

Such a pretty little girl....I think she really looks like you Robyn.
Oh my goodness...We have a bunch of kids.
Stop trying to cop a feel mom!

Robyn, It was great seeing you guys!  I can't wait for our next visit!

 *****

We then made our way to Uncle Shawn and Aunt Sylvia's house.

Scary, I know.

Aunt Sylvia fed us fantastic goodies.
It was lovely to see them..
Especially this lady...

My Dad's mom.
Hi Grandma!

******

We survived the car ride back home.

I am now in the process of washing our dirty clothes from this trip and repacking them for our next adventure.
Busy, busy, busy.
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend.

xoxo
