Road Trip

 We had planned a big, long vacation this year.

Jeryd was going to have to go to Virginia for two weeks 

and we thought we would tag along. 

We also extended the trip to include a detour to Pennsylvania.

We were going to spend a week in Hershey,

then head down to Fredericksburg for an additional two weeks.

Unfortunately, a week before we were going to head out,

The Virginia portion of our trip was cancelled....

booo.

Undeterred, 

we packed everyone up and headed up to PA anyway.

It's a lovely drive.

And, unlike Louisiana, 

the weather outside is lovely and tolerable.

Opening up the car window and enjoying the fresh air was the highlight of the journey.

The pool at our hotel is fantastic.

The majority of our morning was spent there.

 We then headed out to explore the town.

 We ate at a really yummy restaurant.

I highly recommend it.

 We explored the Hershey Museum.

 And we of course had to partake in a few chocolate treats.

 We are going to go explore that tomorrow.
