A lot of new developments in the Leuck House.
No...I am not pregnant.
Just busy, busy, busy.
******
I managed to get my act together last week.
While Jeryd was gone, I packed up all of the kids (and the dog), and headed on down to the valley.
The kids had the whole week before Thanksgiving off,
so we decided to spend the time with family.

| Got to hang out with this guy. |
A lot of preparation went into the big day.
Annie outdid herself again this year.
Welcome to:
First Contact Thanksgiving Feast
A yearly celebration of First Contact…
We’ve invited fellow space travelers
(The everyday embodiment of space beings from various aggregates of stars).
Ambassadors of galaxies, queens of planets, captains & crews of airships, Dr. Who space patrollers who roam our space-less infinity.
…there is no form not invited…
But do know that all ray-guns, lasers, blasters of any type, will be rendered inoperable upon entering our airfield.
Also, the eating of fellow attendees is strictly prohibited.
The purpose of such a gathering is to celebrate and be thankful for the initial & powerful directive:
We Come In Peace.
Please E-mail (archaic, yes, but nostalgia is what the day is all about)
your name, title, and space of origin when you RSVP.
Great consideration will be given in the seating of species.
The celebration will commence at 1300
Until our worlds collide,
May you all live long & prosper
It was a fantastic celebration.
Thanksgiving was beautiful,
and a whole lot of fun!
We had galactic royalty...
...Empressess & Kings...
...princesses...
...and queens...
....we had time travelers...
....including a couple of Dr. Whos....
...superman,
a space monkey..
and various Earth beings.
They traveled across time and space to join in the celebration.
It was SO much fun,
and there was SO much food.
*****
After we sufficiently stuffed our faces,
we ventured down the road to admire some local art.
This cool graffiti is just down the road from Olympic Gardens.
*****
It was a busy, fun-filled day.
****
The next evening we ventured downtown Boulder Creek
to watch the tree lighting and catch a glimpse of Santa.
There was even some "snow".
*******
and we even managed to squeeze in our annual family photo.
I tried to pull my gang together for a x-mas card shot:
You will have to wait and see which one is the winner.
*****
I hope you all had an equally fantastic holiday.
xoxo
