Time For Another Bath

My daughter wakes up around 5:30 every morning.
Mommy does not.
My husband, on the other hand, is an early riser as well.
He is usually up exercising/doing homework/having coffee, before our sweet girl makes an appearance.
She starts the day with him, eating breakfast and getting ready.
This sometimes means a morning shower.
After which my husband does her hair...
....like he does his hair.
Gelled and slicked back.
It's a look.
Anyway,
now sister thinks that this is how we get ourselves ready to go out.
*****
Yesterday 11:20am-seconds before we are to pick Remy up from school:

Me: Sister, go get ready to go, it's time to get your brother.
Sister: OK Mama.

I go use the facilities and find my shoes (took 5 minutes, tops).
Check in on her only to find that she had opened Daddy's hair gel
(that he had left on the counter),
taken a HANDFUL,
and liberally spread it through her baby fine hair.
At the time, all I could do was mold it in to something resembling a ponytail.
A wet, greasy, glistening ponytail.

I managed to pick up Remy without having to explain the state of my daughters hair to anyone.
As soon as we got home I promptly put her into the bath.
I washed....
 ...and washed....
 ...and washed some more.
I swear I washed her hair at least six times.
Her hair was still a greasy mess.
I even gave her a second bath/wash later that evening.
 Still no luck.
Her hair was still a mess when she woke up this morning.
It's a good thing she is so cute.
 She sure is a handful.
Time for another bath Miss Scarlet.
 xoxo
