It has been over a year since the purchase of this home.

The amount of projects that I have tackled is minute compared to what actually needs to be done.

The other day I got a bug up my butt and decided to do something about the ugly brown wall in Scarlet's room.

I found THIS tutorial on how to do your own wall stenciling.

I thought the effect was whimsical and easy enough.

NO ONE appreciated my efforts...

Logan said it looked like the Target sign.

I decided to embellish it a little bit and made a crude diamond shaped stencil to fill in the gaps.

This effort was well received.

I had left-over paint that had been used in the bathroom and the living room,

so this project really only cost the price of a pizza.

(I used the box to cut out the stencils).
