So, when Jeryd is gone I find that the time goes by quicker if I keep myself busy.
I often give myself little projects to do in his absence.
This time around I WORKED on the hall bathroom.
Granted the time spent on it directly correlated with the nap/bed times of my little beings, so progress was slow.
I am happy to report that during Scarlets nap today I was able to put on the finishing touches.
Voila.....
The green was a Bitch to cover...
it took four coats.
SO glad it is gone though.

I started working on it before the "before" pictures were taken.
I had already dismantled the bathroom sliding glass doors.
I would like to take a moment and talk about those !@#$ing doors.
With Logan's help, I was able to remove the glass doors from the tracks.
Those suckers are heavy.
It was all well and good until I decided to relocate said doors to the garage.
Transportation of the first one went well. Currently it is standing tall by Jeryd's workout stuff.
The second one however was another story.
I got it in the garage well enough.
It was when I leaned it up against the first one that we had the problem.
That sucker exploded.
It was so loud that I was surprised my neighbors didn't rush out of their homes to see who had been shot.
It literally took hours to pick up all of the glass.
I still step on find little pieces of it every time I go out there.
****
That was the only major mishap during this whole process.
It was time consuming to scrap off all of the caulking (I chuckle every time I say that word...caulk...haha)..
...but doable.
You would only know that glass doors had once occupied that space from the three screw holes on either side of the tub surround.
I am loving this new place in my home.
This is the view from the tub... I kinda don't want to get out.
There are still a few things I wanna do in there.
We need a new window, I would like a new vanity light...a new overhead light would be great too.....new floors would be nice....
hmmmm.
I guess I have a few more projects to do.
But I think that I will wait until Jeryd's next trip.
You can come home now Daddy.
xoxo
